Bulletin: KFI lineup change
At 6:09 p.m.
Monday evening, KFI’s Tim Conway Jr.,
joined by Mo Kelly, announced a
change in the talk station’s weekday lineup. The new schedule:
Bill Handel 6 – 9 a.m.
Gary Hoffmann & Shannon Farren 9 – 1 p.m.
John Kobylt & Ken Chiampou 1 – 4 p.m.
Tim Conway
Jr. 4 – 7 p.m.
Mo’Kelly 7 – 10 p.m.
George Noory 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Except for a brief time doing mornings on KABC from 1999–2000, Kobylt and Chiampou have occupied afternoon drive for KFI since 1992, succeeding Daryl Gates, the controversial Los Angeles Police Chief after he stepped down from his office. Conway has been at KFI since 2009, after a 12-year run at KLSX. Mo’Kelly (Morris O’Kelly), a 12-year veteran of KFI, moves from weekends.
The new lineup premiers tomorrow.
We’ll provide updates if we learn anything else. The “Year in Review” will be published sometime this evening.
